Just wanted to say hi. Saw that you forked my code on wonderfl and I really love the formula. Thanks again for the help, going to implement it in my flashbum.com remake side that I am doing in PV3d. Feel free to stay in touch.

Hi Jesse, glad I could help. I really like that map function, I use it in most projects one way or another.
How long until the new flashbum site’s done? I’m looking forwards to seeing it. Keep up the good work on ‘Flash Art of War’, I’ve been following that blog for ages.

lawrie,
i’m new to action script and looking at your midi stuff for flash… i’m playing with that sort of thing (in my head mostly) to build some educational tool to put on the jazz site that i support. years ago i wrote something in visual basic to teach intervals, chord qualities, etc. exploring how i might make that sort of thing web-friendly. anyway, thanks for the inspiration. -andy

Hi Andy,
I’m glad to hear that you found the Flash Midi Server stuff useful/interesting. I’d love to see what you come up with, it sounds really interesting. If you have any questions – please get in touch.

Hi Lawrie, I really like your Super Letter Game. Can you please tell me why you’ve stopped registering people’s scores both on Mindjolt and Facebook. Facebook have about 5 or 6 scores but there’s usually a huge amount.

Hi Carol,
I’m sorry to hear that Super Letter Game is no longer registering scores – nothing has changed in the game, so MindJolt must have changed something in the scoreboards. I’ll get in touch with them and hopefully we’ll get it sorted out.
Thanks for letting me know.

Hi Lawrie,

Thanks for replying before about the Super Letter Game. The same thing is happening again and Mindjolt aren’t replying to emails. I’m not the only one to complain about the scores not being registered. Perhaps you could try and get them to sort this out again.

Many thanks

your midi scales, i was so sure they would be easy to find but turns out you are the only one who provided. Many thanks for the code.

You’re welcome Jerome – glad you found them useful. I was really surprised that I couldn’t find them online anywhere. If I get a chance, I’ll go back and add the full range for all those scales.
There’s some really amazing projects on your site by the way!
