The outcome of my first hour spent playing with Adobe After Effects. Could be the titles for a lovely kids TV show. Vectors, 3D motion and layers, a moving camera and dynamic lighting sources! Hooray for After Effects.

Based on an idea from a primary school teacher, I adapted the "Super Letter Game" to create an alphabet puzzle for children learning the alphabet.

Beta Version of a game made from the Maths-Flash coding. A number of balls move around the screen and the user is challenged to press 50 of the red ones. Warning - contains flashing images.

A brief game based around mouse control and reflexes. The user must click on each of the letters of the alphabet, without pressing on the extraneous Z's floating around. Challenging and against the clock, this piece uses complex Actionscripting for deep interaction!

A clean and simple piece of web design, to act as an online presence for the electronic artist B*st*ard!!!. This piece uses flash navigation and interactive elements and a clean and clear HTML/CSS layout.

Pink wire-frame pentagons spawn and move hypnotically in this interactive coding test. The user's mouse position controls the speed of rotation and growth and clicking the background sets the pentagons spawn point.

Using digital design tools, this robot image was produced. Through much time and effort, it was painstakingly turned into a large, two layer stencil poster. The large size and intricate detail of the final posters gave them great presence where ever they were placed.

A small and simple website for an amateur art collective from the Ribble Valley in Lancashire. Making considered and fun use of flash, this site will allow the group to showcase their work to a larger audience.

Here, a worm like creature follows the user's mouse around. The worm's segmented body trails behind the mouse with just a hint of melancholy. The code written for this mouse tracing and flowing effect was later used for a custom interactive menu system.

This movie uses vectors produced from photographs to create an interesting 3D effect. The vectors are ordered to simulate rotation and alter based on the user's mouse position. A proof of concept test for a larger project.

Move the mouse around the screen to change the motions of the black bars. Hover over one to see it grow. A simple but fun coding experiment i made to test an idea for mouse location scripting.

The flash based side of a web project for Keep Away From Fire, a local tee shirt design company, looking to expand into internet based sales. Database driven sections, such as the news page, keep the site up to date and ease updates. All branding was carefully designed, to give the site a constant and appealing feel.

The Joy Of Singing. A feature length flash based animation made to a brief for the Lucky Voice Karaoke Bar in London. The animation depicts the journey of an innocent bird, struggling to find his voice.

Proof of concept for a music video. Hand drawn images over-layed with a delay for chilling effects. Set to the Blood Brother's seminal anthem, Ambulance VS Ambulance.

An interactive CD animation and menu system for Parlophone Records. To be given away at festivals on a micro-CD. Part of a group project.

A real, photographic and a stylized cartoon fox, running through the night. On their way to a house. For some ominous reason no doubt. This piece is an early example of my wide ranging animation styles.

A frantic game based on a local celebrity's antics, Paul's Ultimate Milk Adventure is fast paced and action packed. Help Paul guard his Mum's milk from the cats for as long as possible.
